this is wonderful!  Sound like grand ol opry.  I kept waiting for you to put the S on the end of christmas and it never happened though. :D:D  Christmas wasn't celebrated in the north until Pres. Grant declared it a state holiday after the war.  The northerners thought it too decadent and sinful (they called it the european's sinful tradition)  (WHA?!)  So Irving Berlin's song done a la the southern sound is very appropriate, as they had the tradition first in Amerika.

Hi Scotty!  One of the great traditional Christmas songs.  I love the "down East" treatment that you give this number.   Down East was the term that was used when I lived in Ontario for the country style songs that came out of the maritime provinces and the N E USA.
