Hi Everybody!!
We returned from Pigeon Forge Tennessee last night at about 2am; went straight to bed. Awoke this morning to very minor damage. Have nothing to complain about. I am praying for those who lost everything; homes, businesses, pets, lives et al due to flooding or other types of damage.
I am grateful to be out of Pigeon Forge Tennessee - it was my first real experience with Middle America travel - my father is a French National, he's been in Paris for 30 years, I have plenty of experience travelling Europe, Central and South America, Canada, the BVI, next year we've a planned trip to India.
I have never traveled to Middle America - not considering my travels up and down the east and west coasts of America; for I have traveled CA, WA, ME NH, MA ME, GA, FL etc. I am sorry to report that the reason their might be a heart disease/diabetes epidemic is the way people eat. Essentially I just fasted for four days and am unlikely to travel to Middle America again due to my 90% vegan/vegetarian diet and the fact that I can't really eat unless I have access to a kitchen and Whole Foods.
Please, once again, I am not complaining. I am very grateful for my life, our home is in good condition - our central air is somehow broken, our lights are on, our internet is on, our screened patio received minor fixable damage.
I am praying for those who were really affected by the storm.
