I have reworked the BGV's on this one a little.  Hopefully they are a little smoother now than on the original mix.

Nice one guys.

I thought the panning on the guitars was maybe just a bit too wide on the first verse. Then they became more jelled.

If I were mixing it, I would raise the lead vox just a tad (maybe 1-1.5db).

Nice tune/work! Love the clever lightness of the piano vs the heavy guitar distortion. The drums sound real and in studio. I questioned it before I read your credits.

Hey John-  Thanks for listening.  Glad you like this one.  I agree that the drums came out really nice on this one.

We started with my overdriven guitar track for this song and the guys just added tracks to it.  I really liked the keys tone that Reece added to go with the guitar as well.

Thanks again for stopping by and commenting.

Mike, this is a well crafted song and reflects your steady improvement over the years.  Boy, I think we've all benefitted from this forum over time.  The best thing I like about this song is the change in chord progression from the verse to the chorus.  It elevates the chorus and makes one sit up and listen.  You and the guys are doing very good work these days, and I look forward to hearing more!

Lynn- thank you a bunch for listening all of these years and following my progress. Yes, this place has been good to us both, as I have been impressed with how you have developed over the years, also.

This one was one of those songs that came together well.
