Mike, this is a well crafted song and reflects your steady improvement over the years.  Boy, I think we've all benefitted from this forum over time.  The best thing I like about this song is the change in chord progression from the verse to the chorus.  It elevates the chorus and makes one sit up and listen.  You and the guys are doing very good work these days, and I look forward to hearing more!

thanks so much Lynn! we appreciate that a lot!

Bump...    sounds good, guys.   I like the arrangement/instrumentation dynamic between verse and chorus, works well.   Keys blend with guitars also works nicely,

Good song, guys!  I kind of agree with Ed.  Started with something pulling at me (panned guitars?) and then came together.  I didn't know you sang, Michael!

Steve- Really pleased that you liked this one brother.

Andy-  Thank you for listening and commenting, really happy that you liked this one.

Warren-  Thank you as well for taking the time to listen and comment.  Yep, been singing for a while now...though I have never claimed to be a vocalist.  You may remember me as Makeshift; I never really liked that name and switched to my own.

Gents,

Really excellent work.  Mix is generally really good.   I thought the guitars were slightly too loud during the 1st verse, the 2nd verse was much better mix-wise..  Might also consider a tambourine or something during the chorus to add a little more rhythmic interest.   Vocals are really good as is the rest of the performance.   Like the song too.

Regards

Hey Mark- Thanks for listening and commenting, Bro.  There is really only 1 guitar, my crunchy electric coming out of the left channel, all the way up to the first Chorus.  Once everything else enters the mix at the Chorus, it probably sounds like it balances itself out.  I was going for a minimalist intro.  Really pleased that you like the song, that counts for a lot.
