My favorite dubstep songs are from the transnational sub-genre - check out a sample at

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jCaHCsi9bmc. Also take a look at Skrillex (who hates being classified as dubstep) - they guy is a grammy winner FWIW.
Oh - and the best thing about massive is you can get a sound you like and tweak he hell out of it with a performance mod, save that, then change he perf mod or lfo's and save that as another patch and use program changes to switch between the two - so you can basically have one key midi triggers with five or six program changes creating a vast array of lines. Sooooo much easier than Z3ta+ 1/2 (even though I love them both).
Oh... and check out morton subotnik (i believe he's the founder of the genre) ;).
