If you have something no longer in use, send me a PM.
Also interested in DOS days DAWs if license transfer is legit btw.

I do believe most of those old sequencing software's are now freeware.
I had an old XP computer set up with the Atari Emulator called STeam. And I could run Dr T which is now all free.
There's a site called Tims Atari world   http://atari-music.fddvoron.name/
There might be something like that for the DOS era PC sequencers.
I have stuff from the 80's era gathering dust but never have the heart to part with it.
My 505, Korg DW 8000, Yamaha YMM2 merge box, Roland SDE 1000 delay

Maybe it's free ware, but it would be cool to have the original box/manual :)
I've heard about the Steam, but never gotten around to trying it. Been considering
getting an old Atari ST and some software ... but haven't gotten around to that either.
The SDE 1000 looks nice, I just got myself an SDE-2500 ... enjoy real delays. Their charming.

Doubt if there is still an Atari that runs, mine lasted for 20 years but the Monitor died and that was it. None of the parts were interchangable with PC I think. Even the hard drive was weird. The RAM was.
But STeam is exactly the same as having the Atari. But it helps to have an older PC with a Floppy drive.
You can even run Cubase made for Atari with it.
I havn't tried running it on W7 or 10 but looking on the web site, being open source, people have been updating it.

Thanks for the info, I might give it a go when I have the time.
I understood there where some issues with the MIDI in the emulator,
but it will be more convenient that getting the actual real deal.
Saw somebody locally selling an ST1024 as-is, wanted a fortune for it
... as it is "rare" ... I've come to hate the word "vintage".
It has for me become a synonym with "old crap" sold for the price of new.
Maybe I'm just grumpy :P

My Atari is still alive & well but I also have an XP machine running STeam, more convenient ... and I have a Commodore C64 up and running with the MSSIHA cartridge, a modern Midi interface/sequencer/drum machine/synth  http://www.mssiah.com/index.php Great fun!

I should not have clicked on that link - that looks really cool!

I had (still have I guess) a Commodore SX-64 in which I had the SCI MIDI interface/cartridge. When I let people into the studio (a while ago now that  I think) I had that set up with the keyboards, it fascinated an awful lot of clients.

These days I am still playing around with an Amiga emulator to run Bars&Pipes, ,but then I get bored with the whole thing and just fire up the Amiga if I really want to use it.

Hi Sven! Normal MIDI messages works but not SysEx dumps ... so Midi Sequencers like Cubase works but editors for external hardware that sending/receiving SysEx dumps won't work unfortunately.

I now mostly use it to convert old Cubase .all songs to Midi-files but sometimes it's fun to start a song on in old Cubase, just basic midi, fast and easy, then export the midi to you DAW
You can use the available midi ports in XP, Virtual, LPT or Com ports.

I have CoolSoft Virtual Midi Synth + FluidR3 GM soundfont installed in XP and selected as output device in STeam for easy audition of Cubase songs.
