Guys,

Apologies for bring this one back up again but I done an acappella version of this song that I could do with some quick feedback as Im going to use it for something.

Any comments on mix, clarity, separation, verb, vocal delivery?

Other than the incongruity of hearing your voice unnaturally stacked with harmonies (viz a group of others) I would say it's pretty enticing and alluring.  In a few places I would have written the harmonies differently.  The more you can use correct voice leading (viz parallel motion) the better it will sound.  But that's only in a few places.  I really enjoyed this effort.

eph, you have some nice english words in that paragraph. Something I never took much notice of was the potential alien sound of your own voice being stacked. I know michael jackson used to do it a lot, but I think the second voice was often heavily weighted and filtered to take that spotlight away.

On a second note Im interested what you mean by voice leading, are you saying the harmonies are not tight with each other in place or it could do with some more interesting polyphony type harmonies to create more interest?

Excellent songwriting. Too heavy? Not if that's what you're trying to express, that's what music is for. Very good voice, inventive bgv. I can hear a full band version too. Well done.

Any last suggestions to make this better please pass them on, no feelings hurt. The vox may be too crowded out near the end
