Fascinating video by Donn's Drum Vault.

Hi,

I always thought Carl Palmer had the greatest setup ... and he used it! Unlike a certain Mike that had so much and never used half of it, or a certain crazy that also played with Frank Zappa and he was better at doing tongue gymnastics to the camera than he was drumming ... one quarter of all the stuff he had!

Fun listening to this stuff though!

How did Pedro miss these two obvious choices???

Neal Peart's 360 degree setup.

An even bigger Neal Peart setup!

Terry Bozzio's "Keeping up with the Pearts" kit!

Terry is not mentioned? You might read what I wrote again and go watch a few videos.

I'm not a Pert fan, and do not think he is that great.  To make it sound and look better, you have to use the stuff with you ... and he does not use it a whole lot, except this for one song and that for another song ... big deal.

All of a sudden I like Ringo ... the simplest set ever ... but his drumming touch with the Beatles?  Impressive to say the least. Well, I guess that at least Moon'ie used ALL of his cymbals and just about in every song!

Ok, I did miss your allusion to Terry (I still think of him as the drummer for Missing Persons).
