And Portland (I'm assuming) does not sit in the middle of flash flood territory which... some of the effected areas do.

Okay that was silly but maybe some "flash flood flash mobs" should be goin' on. Young folks seem to like doing these things... do it and save some poor arse mofos stuck on their roofs... or worse... in their attics (bring a fire axe?).

We Finns usually complain about our long winter, short and unstable summer and such.
Watching news like this from areas with a lot of sunshine and no winter gives a little perspective.
Stay safe!

Personally, I think I'd prefer living in Finland to Houston!  (Even before the flooding.)

40+" of rain???  Crazy!

Stay safe out there!

That's even more than we get all year around here ... I think we average around 36/38 inches of rain per year!

This from a Portlander?  Bleh

Heck, Portland only averages 36.69 inches of rainfall a year!  They got that in TWO days!

It's not the quantity but the quality.  Portland rain is like Chinese water torture.  Drip,drip..(please no dick jokes.)
