Anybody wants to know how to get that sound I mentioned; please ask everybody else on here
Since now we have challenges and criticism when it's a about just getting a little more educated even for myself when I joined I hope to learn something new from other fellow musicians,...but it's turning into something negative and competitive.
MUSIC IS NOT ABOUT NEGATIVITY AND NOT ONE TIME HAVE I JUDGED ANYONE ON THIS FORUM REGARDLESS OF THEIR OPINION AND HOW THE EXPRESS THEMSELVES AS FELLOW GUITARIST. TOO MANY SEEM TO BE BOTHERED BY MY OWN EXPRESSION OF WORDS BECAUSE EITHER OF THEIR OWN INSECURITIES OR JUST WANT TO STIR SOMETHING FOR THEIR OWN ATTENTION. THIS NOT A COURT SITE OR THE VIEW SO LETS STOP THIS NONSENSE ALREADY!!

 I'm not just saying this like everybody else on here but I'm the only one that was able to achieve that sound  everyone is asking about.

There are a number of fantastic players here, extremely talented,  with great tone...if you stick around you might actually learn a few things.

Randy... if that link was supposed to go somewhere... it didn't take me there.

People in the past might have asked about Carlos' tone.... I'm sure...Carlos has good tone and other pickers do too.... but it's not  something people ask about here every day.... not that I see anyway...

instead of trying to copy, why not create?

I actually don't like Santana's tone. Too compressed sounding for my tastes........

Herb, the link worked earlier. Strange. It was a "search" summary of at least 4 different threads since April of this year of people looking for info on how to get Carlos's tone. I've seen it here for years and in other forums. It seems alot of folks are interested in the topic.

And Carlos has been playing PRS guitars for years now, not Gibsons.
