Do you shower and put on clean clothes? Or does it not matter to you and you're fine with being dirty around the studio. I have issues with being dirty and not wanting to go into my studio. Do some of you also wear attire that's very musician friendly, rock star like or does wearing normal casual clothing still get you into making some great music?

I do a lot of R&B so a pair of jeans 8 sizes too big and worn back to front is normally sufficient.

Gimp mask & boxers for me.



My honest opinion is that it doesn't matter a rat's arse what I'm wearing - I can recall a couple of guitar solos that I finally nailed first thing in the morning in my dressing gown.

It is Texas in the summer.  Shorts.  And sweat.

Shorts, V-neck cotton T-Shirt and no shoes or socks. I also have to get a shower too. Also cold beer or wine in a cooler has to be available close to hand...

All I need is my guitar, my rack of tools and me. Yes, must be freshly shaved and showered because chances are, I'll be there a while and wouldn't want to get ripe. :)

Before a client shows up I like to shower, shave and put on a fresh pair of shorts and t-shirt. I also light some incense or spray some Fabreaze, empty the trash and make sure the mini fridge is stocked with bottled waters. Any other studio time I just wear and do whatever.
