My October 2016 song is "I'm Glad You stayed" I wrote the song about a dog that i lost about two years ago. We didn't plan on keeping her at first, but we did. All dogs are special, and she was as sweet a dog could be. However, she had a short life, 6 years old.
The first two lines in the song, "The Sun had never shined so bright, The Sky had never been so blue", pretty much say enough.

Terry, this is lovely -- the mix is very nice.  I love the sound of the drums/bass and the keyboards are arranged beautifully -- the melody is catchy.  Your vocals are also good (although I would like to have heard some harmonies on the chorus).  I enjoyed this even though it has such a sad backstory (I can relate as my wife and I recently lost our dog of 17 years. Very good piece of work.  !!

Terry, this is a lovely song, and your production is very good.  It's been fun to hear you grow over the years because your have such a unique style and voice.  I thought I heard your voice in a TV commercial a few weeks ago, but it probably was someone imitating you.  Congratulations on the Cubs!  We, here in KC, know the feeling.  Enjoy it while it lasts because next year you'll be facing the Royals in the WS.  Best of luck.
