Noisy Neighbour

sometimes I wonder how long a conversation would last if people would always say exactly what they think to each other...

I like to think of conversations as a strip-teez.  Layers and layers coming off.  Then finally all there is, is love (or hate).  If you're not feeling something, then you're not alive. :D:D

Nicely constructed song, mix comes across well here plenty of space for the instruments and the vocal.  Nice job thanks for sharing.

Daniel, this is a fantastic song.  From the opening sequence to the end, I was hooked.  This has a great lyric and vocal performance.  Everything was in its place and easily heard.  That being said, this is only my 2 cents, but I would like to hear the bass guitar a bit louder to stand up to the bass drum.  However, this song works as is, and it showcases your talent well.  Good job!

Excellent song, beautifully recorded. Love the choice of synth sounds, perfect. Really like that delayed guitar in the right channel too, and the little passage at 2:14, right up my street that is. Chorus really takes off, good stuff. This is high quality work Daniel.

Very nice mix. Vocals were clear. Synth was well placed. Clean guitars were pleasant. Distorted guitars were maybe just a tad too loud (or maybe on a personal taste, just a little to brittle).

I liked this song. Overall a great job.

That was pretty cool, I liked it.   I hear an influence in there, though I can't quite put my finger on it...

Everything sounds pretty good, though I think the vocals on the chorus could ride just a touch more above the music.    Good balance overall though.

eph221,
: ) that is definitely one interesting angle to look at it

Wookiee,
Thanks a lot! I'm glad to hear the mix translates well.

Lynn,
Thank you so much! Especially commenting on the lyrics. Yea... the bass...I still find it the hardest part to mix.

Jamesg1213,
Thank you! I really feel honored by your comments! : )   ...just listened to "Willowman" again.

Babu,
Thanks for your positive feedback! I meant to break the silence with the distorted guitars for the Chorus ...maybe slightly overdone?

Thanks again for listening and commenting, gentlemen! It is highly appreciated : )

Cheers,
Daniel

Thanks for listening! What you say concerning the vocals in the chorus kind of matches bapu's comment about the distorted guitars. I might have to get them out of the way of the vox just a little more. (eq,or/and vol.)
Man, that's what I call helpful and constructive critics! : )
