I used to drink beer. Lots of it. And I'll still have a few when I get out - which is rarely. But I've transitioned to wine.
 
Like my favorite musician, Beethoven. As the story goes, On his deathbed, after being informed that his publisher had gifted him twelve bottles of wine, Beethoven’s last recorded words were: “Pity, pity, too late!”.

I really like this one. I think it was seasonal (or at least occasional) when it was first released, but it's now a regular. It goes well with sausage/onion/extra cheese pizza, sharp cheddar cheese, and Law and Order binge watching late at night (pretty much in that order, though not necessarily all together).

Due to having some stomach issues, I have to stay away from lots of beer types, including wheat beer.
My beer of choice is Carlsberg.

9% ABV?  Wow.  

Yeah, I find it kind of amazing how many micro-brews hover around 9% ABV. I'm almost beginning to wonder if it's almost a status thing.
