Thanks James, well to my furry ears they both sound like good mixes, which is something that I would expect from you.  The remix with the iZotope Neutron plug sounds a little louder to my ears and possibly a little denser.  Personally I think I prefer the original as I can always turn things up if I want louder.  With the second mix I am not hearing the lyric so well and the bass feels pushed.

Mix sounds great; it hasn't been neutered by Neutron

James, I'm late to this party, but I'm glad I made it.  Terrific song and production, I'll have to check Neutron out.  I wish I had your horn arranging skills because I'm planning on writing a horn based song.  Great to hear your stuff.

...I couldn't tell what plugins were used here... it's a solid mix ...period. ; )
