Well, I am a HUUUGE fan of the Globetrekker series, as much for the travelogues as for the music. Your piece reminds me of and compares favorably to that . . . I like the little things you have panned out there. 
 
When you brought the brighter drums in, it really got going! I think the first half of the song could suffer a little from low-end emphasis - it didn't seem like you had much going on in the upper registers. Low drums, low synth patch. But when the hi hats and brighter snare showed up, about halfway through, that felt just right.

The track reminds me of something, a Peter Gabriel track I think, mix works here, I agree with Tom that the starting build up could do with some more ear candy.  Thanks for sharing.
