I think I figured out why we now have such a panoply of styles (shoegaze, psych, etc.etc)  It's due to Starbucks with the upside down no fatty brown green no sugar tea latte with no whip type thing.  The millenials think like that now.

clear mix, bouncy yet depressing. A little Yaz-like which is always fun. I appreciated your background harmonies - barely perceptible but they do add a lot to the chorus.

Very cool song! Have no fear, the republic has withstood a lot worse than this, and if you start feeling down, just write another one just like this. It's impossible to be anything but cheery with this tune playing. My wife says if you add a bunch of reverb you've got a perfect 80's dance tune.

Very inventive , super easy to listen too . Your tune also has a nice toe tapper vibe …
