In Norwegian, of course 

Over the past few years I have been increasingly convinced Canada and Norway should become even closer buds than we are on the global stage.
 
We have a ridiculous amount in common and run some of the most respected societies in the world (not without problems of course but we do pretty well by most metrics).
 
We'd be an unstoppable team for teaching/coaxing/guilting the world into being a little bit better to those who really matter in the end.
 
The innocent/peace loving citizens who just want to bloody well get on with their day and be able to feed/shelter/educate themselves and their families without crap blowing up around them all the time.
 
Canuckers and Norway Doods (and/or doodettes) UNITE!!!

Rant alert !!!!!!

Norwegian politics are quite good on a case to case basis, seen from the outside/inside..
Even perhaps globally. (But we're only 5 and a bit million peeps here) Pee in a pond, anyone???
I only wish the Norwegian politicians weren't that stupid (they unfortunately are when seen from the "inside", at least most of'em)  
If that weren't the case..
Then we could be a country to be proud of

I'm proud to be Norwegian, and weird at the same time 

Oh ya... we have our significant share of the "Derpshow" here too (and for such a large landmass a tiny population) but in contrast to other places... man am I ever glad my pops knocked up my mumz here instead of Dirthumpistan or the Democratic Republic of We'llbeatyouuporworseifyouhaveathoughtofyourown.

Another reason is I know that there are policies you guys have figured out that I wish were implemented here and I'd imagine we do stuff that might be good over there.
 
One big thing is I wish we managed our oil/fossil fuel reserves (and natural resources in general) the way you guys seem to have it set up.
 
That being the concept of the lion's share of the profits go toward making life better for the people. We've blown that one pretty consistently.

I feel the world would be a much better place without two groups of people.  One is politicians, the other I'll keep to myself to not upset those who may be overly sensitive.

No, no...  I'm not completely insensitive.  Besides, most of the idiots are that way due to brainwashing and poor education due to the first group I'd like to see obliterated.
