There was a black moon last night/early hours of the morning and thought it would be an idea to make an ambient track with a bit of dark and light.

I think the tempo  choice and the rhythmic elements are pretty compelling right away. Really like those chords coming in around :55

Felt the opposite way about the big sweepy synth at 1:30, kind of sets the excellent chill back a bit. Just my .02 they are probably a keeper for most folks.

You clearly know how to bring elements in and out, keeps it very interesting to listen to! Well done.

Also, very cool website! I like the way it is organized.

Very cool mood and groove. The sweeper synth would fit better if it didn't restart the sweep on every note, but just swept using an LFO. Just my $.02.

Thanks Tom. Been meaning to update the website for a long time and make it more modern looking.

Tom & Dan - Thanks for the constructive feedback on the synth sound, probably my bad on the synth programming side and getting too close to the tune. After a day away from it I do get what you mean. I think concentrating on making the mix sound wider didn't help either

Nice piece of chill electronica/ambient!   I agree with the Dan that the main sweep might work better not re-triggering on each note, but that's simple enough.  About the only other comment I have is that I'd like to hear the piano a bit wider during the breakdown.    Again, minor stuff.

I kept hearing a melody sung over the top of this nice groove -- the changes lend itself to it.  But that's my obsession.  This track flows very nicely and sustains interest -- good stuff.  !!

Hi Adrian,

I'm listening to Black Moon again now. I enjoyed it first time around when you first posted it. Definitely worthy of a "like" and "repost"

cheers
