Lyrics courtesy of someone I have not met in NYC, which was a breath of fresh air - inspired me to do something with a different feel to my usual. I deliberately tried to sing it in a slightly fragile, vulnerable kind of way without sanitizing too much. I'm pleased with the result, but I would be pleased to hear your views.

Drums - BFD3
Lead guitar - S Gear and a kind of Gary Moore setting using the Wayfarer Amp.
Power chords - S Gear, Jackal Amp
Vocals - Waves CLA plug in
Master - Waves Greg Wells Mixcentric and Waves L1 Limiter

Thanks for listening!

Love it!  this is a classic!  Did you write this at burning man?! HAHA  A note about youth (although there's lots of old immature types as well)  *just because you haven't any enemies, doesn't mean others don't consider you their enemy*.  I imagine there's lots of people that learn this the hard way.

Yeah, I like the vocals - vulnerable, and out front! Overall it's a very listenable presentation.

I think you could look at the drums - how did you do them? Are they live? There might be a couple of timing issues - around 1:10, I wonder if the guitar is ahead of the drums, or the bass is, or the drums are behind??? A slow song is really hard to keep tight all the way through. Maybe it's worth a check?

Good tune and I liked the vocal presentation very much.  I thought maybe the maximizer settings were a bit heavy.

Drums were done in BFD3. I did humanise them a bit, but they are not to blame - I think the acoustic guitar wobbles around 1:10, so thanks for pointing that out. And thanks for your encouragement!

All my life I have thought my voice is perhaps best described as adequate, so any compliments are greatly appreciated, thank you! I'm trying hard to improve my vocals and I do think I've made a little progress.

I possibly agree about the maximizer - it is a new toy. The actual wave form doesn't look ridiculously crushed, but I accept ears trump eyes!
