Hiya Freddy,

That was fun

I'm listening again while reading the comments above. I can't really add to what has already been said. I'm not picking up the bass so much, but I listen with earbuds so that may account for that. And, besides, if the bass was removed I reckon I'd sure notice it was missing... Sometimes subtle bass, sitting nicely with the kick, is the way to go

Cool lyrics... You have a nice piece of work here

cheers

Nice soundtrack for cruising on the highway
The bass is a bit boomy on my speakers, but otherwise song sounds good

Hi Tom.  Thanks for the kind words and suggestions.  I have brought up the vocal as much as I dared.  Hope that improves it a bit.  Being an old guy myself (ahh, let's call that mature), I felt right at home when I went to a couple of shows to shoot video.

Hey Mark.  I guess I'll have to come up with a song that will motivate you to get up out of that chair.  How is retirement going?  I love the songs on the two posts that you have put up.  Excellent stuff buddy!

Hey Arlen.  Thanks for listening and the kind words. Is that you and your granddaughter in the picture?  If so, she looks like a real sweetheart!

Hiya Andy.  I appreciate your taking the time to listen and comment.  I go back and have a listen to the bass.  Thanks again.

Hi Makke.  Thanks for the comments - I appreciate them. As I mentioned above, I have to go back again and listen to the bass.

Hey, Freddy,

Very cool and fun "blues-a-billy" vintage rocker!

As always, creative songwriting, great playing and singing, and a nice mix that sounds right on target for the genre!

Great stuff, buddy, excellent work!

Hi Bob.  Great to hear from you.  Thanks for the kind words.  I appreciate it.  Good luck on the new CD release.  You have been putting out some great stuff recently!

Thank you Rikkie.  I grew up loving the Blues and Rockabilly.  To misquote John Lee Hooker, I guess "...it's in me and got to come out."  Now --- if I could learn more than three chords   ;>)

Oops, someone at the door -- gotta go (cat).

love the bass/rhythm guitar sound. really drives the song on. drums are OK but lack any real weight. the vocals grew on me, but prob do need a little less of the slapback verb or maybe utilise that as an effect.
i was hoping for a searing solo or some change-up!

Apparently I had some issues with the vocals on this.  In particular the reverb.  I have a propensity to over use it.
Thanks for listening and I appreciate the feedback!
