Nice and peaceful. Long drawn out notes but with enough variety to keep up my interest.
Well done.

Nice Rik, just a tad of hi cut to take the edge off those high resonances would be icing on the cake.

Thanks for sharing.

The Flute Rik it just gets a bit edgy in places just needs a subtle cut of a dB or two right around that point.  I will download it and see if I can get some timings for you.

Actually analysing it Soundforge there is a real phase issue have you got access to a correlation meter Rik, instead of vertical it is nearly horizontal.  The track could sound really interesting on 5.1 system.

Hi John, just put up a new mix, used the new eq in sonar, the one with the spectrum display, to tone down the highs a bit. i also had the nomad stereo thingy set abit to wide, in mono you only hear the flute, toned that down a bit.

Hi Rik,

Listening to the current mix right now.

Loving this already and I'm only thirty seconds in...

Actually, you know I'm going to like this sort of piece... I am a sucker for drones and leads, and this fits the bill perfectly, in terms of composition. Lead sound is lovely.

Have you considered using a bit of ping pong delay on the main drone? Might help spread it across the stereo field a bit more. For me, it's kind of sitting a bit over to the left of centre. I know it can be a bit of a pain this, when there are only two tracks, because it's either both tracks dead centre, or one to each side. I get over this by using a bit of stereo delay on the backing track (drone).

That's just an ever so minor crit though Rik, because this is one cool piece of work

(erm... thinking about it, could you let me have the stems for this? I'd love to have a play)

cheers

On seconds thoughts, now that I've listened to one of mine again, my drone sits over to the left, so that means that I'm talking a load of bollocks

apologies for that...

cheers
