Dan,

Have had a few listens to find something wrong with it and have given up:)   Great track, not only is the music captivating throughout, but the mix is really well done as well.   Terrific work.

Regards

Thanks Mark! I really appreciate the kind words!

Sounds good, nice mixing.   The overly plain rhythm of chords maybe could be spiced up a little:  half, half, whole, half half whole, half half whole.

Thanks William! I'm guessing you are referring to the acoustic guitar? I tried different things, but ended up liking the driving rhythm the best.

It's great to hear that 15 years of boiling ideas can get through and be ready with this quality. I have had many old ideas myself I'm trying to complete but after a while I often realize that the old idea is to bad making something of and the only reason I "like" it is nostalgia.

The sound is gorgeous, terrific work as usual with the blend of sounds. A lot of sweet reverb, but it never gets muddy. Isn't that what we always strive for? Great job, Dan!

Thank you Lasse! I couldn't have written this 15 years ago, so sometimes the song comes when you are ready

Hi,
Nice time spent listening to this piece.
I am not yet really familiar with your music but I think that with a little bit of training ,I could recognise a composition of yours among others in a blind test because you have a signature,it is not evident to describe but I think it lies somewhere in the way you manage intervals.
Anyway good job and I understand your comparision between your way to make music and painting.
Thank you for sharing.
All the best.

Wow.
That was great.
Loved:
the Rundgren-esqe keys part at 1:01
the string flourish at 2:45
the slamming ending

Thanks James! I appreciate it!

Too good Dan ! Super piece of composition and mixing both ! Thoroughly enjoyed listening to it, the amazing string sequences in particular kept me hooked on...well done !

Thanks Ramesh!  The strings came as a shot of inspiration, while away from my DAW, of course. I thought the whole thing came together once that inspiration struck.

Dan
