Interesting take on this classic tune.  Some nice playing and the earth is definitely rumbling here.
Some nice tones and ear candy, mix sounds very clean and positive.  Thanks for sharing.

Mesh- I actually just compressed the low end just a tad differently in the updated mix.  Did not "add" any EQ or gain to bass.  Thanks for the tip.

I liked it...   you've got some great lines thrown in surrounding the main melody.   The arrangement is clear even though there's lots of interesting bits happening.   I also liked the leslie effect on the vocals, nice touch.

SteveC-   Thanks for those words.  Actually, that was a great compliment, because my style of writing is usually very dense, and I make it a goal to have space for each and every sound...and there are usually many going at one time.  What I lack in quality, I make up for in quantity!  LOL
The effect on vocals was just a ProChannel preset-  "Dumb Step".....my voice is old and crackly, so I have to disguise it.  haha!

Very nice playing and the mix is pleasing.  Gotta say tho that I didn't like the intro section as I don't think it set up the groove or added anything to the piece.  Once it all kicked in tho, it was great
