I was in Norway a couple of years ago and the scenery there reminded me of
Peer Gynt Suite. I came up with this composition as a result. It's more "orchestral" than what I usually do.

Thanks for listening.

The backing track is superb!   Only thing I'd change up is the clarinet (?), you need to play it with more feeling.  It sounds like all the notes are at the same velocity level (or played without dynamics.)

Yes, it's a clarinet (Dimension Pro) and I see what you're saying about the dynamics of the instrument. I really appreciate the suggestion. Thanks.

This is a nice piece Bjorn.

Is the rhythm guitar part a sample or is it you playing?

Well put together, although I can see where David is coming from.

cheers

Nice composition, but it lacks any feeling as noted by David, thanks for sharing.

That is nice...   it's got a lonely sort of vibe to it.    Add some dynamics for ebb and flow and it should be good to go.

Andy,  I used a few tweaked RealGuitar patterns for the rhythm guitar part. I thought the piece came out pretty well and describes the feelings I had while wandering around in a Norwegian forest. Thanks for the comment.

Daryl, I love that suite too. Kind of magical.

Wookie, when I listen to the music it reminds me of Norwegian folk tales that I read about. Trolls and wood nymphs, things like that. Kind of a magical feeling for me.

SteveC, thanks I appreciate the comment.  Agree about the dynamics.

Thanks all

Beautiful, a bit melancholy melody. Well done arrangement and orchestration. Pleasant sounds.

Hi Bjorn, nice composition, I wouldn't mind some reverb on this.  Also, but thats just my opinion, I would like it at abi slower tempo.
