I am using the updated replacement .exe file and while I no longer get the "Teleport server has stopped" message after closing a project, I am getting multitudinous random crashes like never before. Fortunately, the client I was working with yesterday when this all went so wrong is a very understanding buddy of mine.

Is this one of those issues where I will just have to determine exactly which plugins work better with BitBridge rather than jBridge?

Also, how do I get ALL of my 32-bit plugins to run under jBridge? I have already set every VST folder option to use jBridge, but I'm still getting many 32-bit plugins showing up in BitBridge.

ADVthanksANCE

First up...did you do a VST reset and re-scan in Preferences?

Thanks very much for the tip.I guess I will be looking for Scott's new book on S-Plat.

Did that yesterday. Now, everything runs under jBridge.

Sadly, now any projects with Aria Player (64-bit) won't load at all, and naturally, I use it in most of my R&B projects. Other projects seem to operate normally.

How do I get this 64-bit plugin to load?

I guess this begins the process where I create a new blank project and start adding stuff until it fails on loading.

I am seeing 32-bit jBridge processes in the Task Mgr, but I'm surprised to see a 64-bit jBridge process. Perhaps that one is the actual bridge into the 64-bit universe.

Certainly in my case, a little knowledge is a dangerous thing. >8]

Thanks very much for your prompt reply.

Charlie, do you mean restart the computer or restart Sonar?

I do not have jBridge so this may not be helpful at all.

Not sure why you are running a DPro in jBridge when there are both 32 and 64bit native versions.

Did you happen to wrap the 64bit plug-ins too? I know jBridge can wrap both 32 and 64bit plug-ins allowing 32bit plug-ins to run in 64bit hosts and 64bit plug-ins in 32bit hosts.

I have mistakenly assumed that jBridge only applied itself to jumping universes for 32-bit plugins.

Do you know how I can prevent jBridge from activating itself on my 64-bit plugs?

I think I have resolved this.

I mistakenly believed that setting the VST Folder Defaults was singular to only the folder selected, but I have discovered that it is not.

I believe that it is called "Folder DEFAULTS" because it applies to every VST folder in the list. At least it did for mine.

I would set my main VSTPlugins folder in ...Programs/Cakewalk/VSTPlugins to not run under jBridge. Then, check the setting for my Programs(X86)/Cakewalk/VSTPlugins to find that the jBridge checkbox is not checked. I would then check it, click OK, and then re-open the 64-bit folder and find that it too has been checked.

Now. I'm having to go through and be sure that none of my 64-bit plugins are selected to run under jBridge.

Is there no way to make all plugins in a folder run under jBridge and still have plugins in other folders not, without having to make the choice for each plugin?

PS: I am basically up and running again after a pretty scary couple of days.

FX Teleport is BitBridge. We made some updates to it, so if you're still experiencing issues (with Bitbridge) I'd like to hear about them.'

also sorry to hear about interrupting your work, that's very unfortunate
