here we go! lots of fun and a super clean recording.

Love the bass lines particularly. Great mix of rap and conventional chorus. Vocals seem to drive it, but in the verses I might back off the delay line a little bit.
The chorus is super strong, and I almost would vote to start the song with it. But it's probably too late to change that.

The acoustic guitar might be too "clean" and up-front sounding? What about a little more reverb on it, not much? That way it would always be background, and for whatever reason I  found myself hearing it a lot during the chorus.

STEREO MC's TERRITORY! Love it.

cheers,

Good song I want to hear some of the bass in your voice a little more bass kick to thud...make the hi hats a bit more thicker sounding too...to take away the tinny sound and give it more presence.

Overall good song!!!

Thanks all

Tom, the song does start with chorus no??! interesting on the guitar, what speakers you listening on?

Dappa1, im in favour of allowing the lower end kick take a bit more off the bass. I found the hithats overpower the rap, which is why they have been reduced. perhaps some air on the master might bring out that side

Ill take any other final opinions/suggestions

Cheers

Hi Cian, my speakers regrettably are Mackie HR 824's so there you go. You have a super cool track with great elements, and for most people no one is going to react as I did to that acoustic guitar. Did you play that in, or is it a vst?

Ah, you are right, it does open with a chorus! But a "stripped-down" version for the intro, sorry I missed that, pretty obvious! I guess I meant a full-blown chorus intro with more energy right away. But I understand the stripped-down choice, too.

cheers, and good luck!

Must be the second mix I ma hearing as most of what is raised above is not so for this mix, though there does seem a bit to much on the lead vocal, reverb, delay, something that is just letting not quite gel into the mix.

Thanks for sharing.
