Does anyone else have this problem...

When the Zeta+ 2 UI is open I get a weird glitch using the modwheel on my keyboard (Novation SL MKII). When I puch the modwheel fully the audio stops briefly and all changes I made to the preset are reset to the last saved version. However, which the UI closed every thing works just fine. I used MIDI OX to see what the keyboard sends on modwheel changes but every thing looks normal.

Sorry if this issue already is reported but I couldn't find any similar post

Is there a specific program that you're having troubles with?  I just tested in SONAR Plat and Studio One 3 both.  No problems with pitch or mod from my FA 06

Ah, yes I forgot to mention that. I'm using Sonar Platinum on a Windows 10 desktop. I had this issue for a while and I don't remember when it started. Maybe it's always been there.

I'm also on a win10 desktop.  No problems here.

Which controller are you using?  Is there another piece of hardware you can try?

I'm using a Novation SL MKII. I'll see if I can borrow another keyboard from a friend, but it will take a while.

Can you record MIDI track with such effect?
Then you can check if just playing this MIDI track produce the same problem. If yes, please post this file (better as Sonar project with this one track, saving as a MIDI file can be not precise) so other can confirm.

Good Idea Azslow3, here's the file...

It's just a couple of sloppy chords with modweel action. On my system it runs fine with Zeta's UI closed, but when I open the UI I get the same wierd results as described in the first post. If you get it to try changing some parameter in the preset and see what happens.

Oh, I checked the event list and there's nothing but notes and modwheel action recorded.

Sorry, I can not reproduce under latest platinum, latest z3ta, latest win10 (and i7).

Since you mention you have short audio drop, open Windows resource monitor and watch CPU monitor (or change Sonar buil-in monitor to total system mode). When you play, do you see a heavy load on CPU? Is there difference between GUI open and  GUI Closed?

There was several reports before that Z3TA reset settings under different conditions. I can not remember we have found the way to reproduce. And till that is done, there is no chance it is fixed... So please do not give up.

Very strange, only difference in my setup is the CPU. My desktop is based on a 8 core AMD processor, I'm not at home right now so I can't check which one. So the issue only occur when the GUI is open and it seems it's not related to my MIDI controller since it happened even during playback.

So maybe it is system related? I'll write down my specs when I get home.

Since it happens with audio glitch, on powerful CPU and only when GUI is open... GPU and graphic settings can be the reason (do you use several monitors? magnifications? etc.).
Also do you have some other computer where you can try to reproduce the effect? It does not matter how powerful it is, in case you have 2 systems in hands, one running fine and other not, it can be simpler to understand what is wrong.
