Just read an article. Ticks can also spread allergy to red meat! First case diagnosed in Finland recently, several hundreds already elsewhere. Interesting. It's due to certain gelatine that your immunological system treats as a threat when it comes from the tick, even though your body contains it already.

That sounds like a mixed blessing.
 
I could really use an aversion to red meat, as I age and start to swell my office-body to fit my cubicle.
But I don't think I could live on Kale & Cucumber sandwiches.
