Impact iX keyboards are USB class compliant and therefore don't require a driver to operate. So installation and connection is easy;just plug the keyboard in to a USB port on your computer. Oh oh, I tend to avoid products that have that claim. So we'll wait and see. Both my Roland Keyboard and Yamaha Drums came with USB / MIDI drivers.
Nice looking, perfect size, looks about the same as my Roland A49 with just a few missing buttons ( I don't use them anyways)
A bit cheaper too, mine was $130 for 49 keys.
Also we'll have to see how it feels under the fingers. Most I tried in a store felt like toys with a light weight plastic keys. The Roland feels solid like an old synth from the 80's.
