I really have to ask you, just because it just too? I listened to many of your songs today and in the past. You cross an arena of styles. That's you doing all that work? Oh and your teeth look really white! ;) What tooth paste do you use? hehe ;) I liked "Ride like hell" the best!

Peace!

Great production James - your voice actually reminds a bit of Thomas Dolby which suits the era

Of course its all me unless otherwise noted (I do have the fortune of havingsome of the good singers here and there to collaborate with). I have a wide range of musical interests.

My toothpaste is whatever is on sale. My avatar pic was taken on vacation in Hawaii, so I was mega-tan, making my chicklets look whiter than in real life.

My comparison would be a later Yes hybridized with Wang Chung. I think that's it.

As long as you keep bringing such excellent songs and mixes that nail the older eras, I'll be pretty hooked. In the couple of tunes I've heard lately, you do a great job with adding and clearly mixing many different elements. Where a lot of songs have four things going on at once, you have 12. And I can hear them all and they're great!

Kudos on the bgv's. I'd agree, just a little more bass would be nice.

Comparisons...hmm..I'll go with The Fixx meets Thomas Dolby meets Freeze  I used to like this kind of stuff back then, still have a fondness for it. Love that little change at 2:33. Excellent homage James, superb production.

Great sound on a great song! You have many elements in this that all tie together very well. Those, along with the key changes, really peaked my interest. The mix is completely off the chain! I was totally impressed from start to finish.

Bass? In an 80s homage? Surely you jest! ;)

Thanks for the kind words. This is another track I started on over a year ago, let sit for the longest time, the I dusted it off and rolled up my sleeves.
