Very open sound.  Excellent guitar and bass recording.  I am most familiar with the Cyndi Lauper rendition. 
 
I just love the acoustic guitar, did you play that?  How did you mic that?  Or is it a midi thing?
 
The bass too, is that you playing the bass.
 
This is very nice. 
 
I would add some backing vocals, some oohs and some ahhs.  You did a great job.  Love it! Much

The guitar is recorded with both the piezzo and an old dynamic microphone( AKG D3600 to be clear)
The bass is recorded though a little EDEN box.
