Hello, hello, hello.....hope all is well and everyone is making music!

The Distant Towers camp has been steadily working and we now have a new song to share.  It is called All We Can Do.  If you are so inclined to listen, thank you!  If you want to make a comment or two, even better!!  No comments are bad as far as we are concerned.  Thanks advance to anyone who chimes in.

***This link is to the new 9-6-16 mix based on comments from the thread***

The forensic team gathered these facts about the song...
Tom McCaffrey:  Vocals, bass, lyrics, synth
Preston Richardson:  Drums/percussion/drum loop
Tony Wood:  Guitars, lyrics, mixing
Will be on the forthcoming (and thus far) untitled 5th CD.....release early 2017???

Love it.

Agree that the bass is way too low. Love the guitars!  You guys create stuff that really evokes a mix of stuff that I really like. This is no exception. Just beef up the bottom!

Dan

Excellent song guys, well up to your usual standard. Majestic arpeggiating Tony  Agree the bass could come up a bit. I note a lack of Tom's 'weird bits' going on in the background on this one - conscious decision?

All - Thanks so much for the feedback w/all your good ears! Tony is mixing this one in DT Studio South so we are making some mixing adjustments one of which is effecting the bottom end...easy fix but we really needed the feedback on that for sure ! Thanks....

We really enjoyed developing this one and it has a special twist in that Tony took the helm producing and mixing this piece....fun to watch him work even from afar!

James, with that said I assisted as needed but really needed to stay the hell out of the kitchen on this one which more or less speaks to the cleaner feel production wise. I really enjoyed watching it grow under Tony care but I would be fibbing if I said it was not a bit challenging for me to jump in and grab the beast by the horns and start twisting!...lol And once again we are very lucky to have Preston along for the ride on this.....he does great work despite his busy work/life schedule...great dude.

kk thanks again all!

I agree with the bass comments.  There, but.... I don't know.  That being said, IT'S LIKE OLD HOME WEEK.  It's been a long time since Distant Towers and the Pugtones have new songs up at the same time.  Your song is classic DT.  I just love the way you guys move in and out of the music.  Hard to explain but that's what I feel.  Great instrumentals and the vocal Chameleon (Tom) is up to his old tricks.  I do think I detected a Korean accent, though.  Been there a while, buddy?  LOL.  I just love coming up here and seeing you guys working.  Great songwriting.
