J.S.
Been working on this music project off and on for a few months , I just finished recording my own drum track for the music I created yesterday using my Electronic drum kit .
My Bass kick drum was set at its highest volume so the volume level can't be adjusted in volume it is what it is .
Anyway I'm working on writing lyrics for it now , the song is half written but looking at a few more weeks before I'm completely happy with the lyrics .

Hope you enjoy !

Hey James
without vox it's always hard to comment on how the song will turn out, but I like the transitions you have in this and the change in feel from major to minor. the drums sound fine but it's always worth recording the MIDI out of any e-drum kit so you can a) fix any timing glitches and b) resample if necessary
looking forward to hearing the final work

Thanks for the listen and comments on the music itself , I ran Audio Out of my drum module into my Audio Box Audio in and recorded on a Audio track .
I tried awhile back recording MIDI but for some reason I can't get the drums setup where it sounds right .
I always hear too much latency going on even after trying to make some adjustments with that recording issue . Yea as soon as I write the lyrics and record vocals I will update this post , this song is a birthday song for my wife who has been with me for 26 years now .
I have the lyrics written for the first verse and the Chorus section but not the second verse and bridge section .
Again thanks for the listen and comments , in a few weeks I should have the song finished I hope .
We have been so busy with doctors and everything else , I spend only a few hours a day on it .

Cheers !

I like it! More so as it went along. Just personal preference but I thought the third part was my favorite section, it seemed pretty together.. . although it had a weird bass line? cutting in and out? Like my monitors have a loose connection . . .

fun, would like to hear the finished product . . .

If you are anything like me, you'll get it done for your 45th Anniversary.  :)

Thanks Tom , I will look into my bass track .
Another few weeks I hope to finished her song as long as her cat doesn't drive me crazy with her twenty-four hour howling .
Her cat is 17 years old and she is barely hanging on , she should had been put to sleep but wife is trying to keep her alive .
Bad thing is her cat whines all day and night , I don't need that sound on my vocal track .
Trying to talk some sense into my wife's head , this has been going on too long your cat needs to be put to sleep .
Anyway it is what it is , thanks for your comments Tom .

Thanks !
James

You should be able to set it up to just record a midi track without connecting to a vsti drum sampler and it shouldn't introduce any latency that way. Assuming your dum module has midi out.

Thanks , didn't think of hooking it up that way and recording .
My drum module has midi out , thanks I'll give that a try and see how that works out .
