That was great!!!

Nice writing, superb crunchy guitars, tasty solo work...... what's not to like?

Yep.... I could see KISS playing that as their opening tune in concert as James mentioned.

It's got that infectious groove.

First of all I agree: you are never too old to rock...

Great tune. I liked the guitars: the rhythm guitar plays nicely, the solos are nice too. Mixing is good. This could be on radio.

Thanks Jesse, Ed, Bob F, Firesong, Rimshot, Mike, James1213, Sixfinger, Leadfoot. Frugaard, Daryl, fjz. You guys aren't easy to sell, I know! :)

markno99: Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for the listen and the comments. I used that Axe Fx AX8 all over this. Rhythm guitars, lead, bass. Pretty cool little piece of gear.

James YoYo and Herb: hahaha....great compliments. You guys are awesome, thanks so much! :)

Marcos69: Thanks a lot! Always enjoyed your playing!

stevec: Thanks! I drove poor Phil crazy with those vocals. He must have re-sung them 3 times. He HAD to sing them due to the irony in the song, plus...he wrote it. LOL! He wasn't crazy about his voice on this at first, so I tried to sing on it and well...it wasn't the right voice either. So he worked hard on the verses and chorus parts, and I came up with a bridge with me singing that I felt good about that didn't take away from the song too much. So we looked at it like the older guy presenting the package, and the old guy that is a little younger supporting it. LOL!

Dan: Thanks! I know you're not an easy sell. Heck, most of the guys on this forum aren't. I was pretty pleased with the positive responses, although....I was a bit skeptical because I'm still working with all new gear in a brand new room. So sometimes I find myself not quite buying into myself. Ever have that happen? In my old room with my old gear, I never had a second thought. In this new situation, I always feel like I'm being a bit conservative. So I've been concentrating on more "neutral" mixes instead of pushing things in a more modern way...if that makes sense? I'm still feeling this place out, but I'm quite pleased so far.

Tom: hey, thanks man! Much appreciated. I had so much fun on this little tune...I was sort of sad when we were done with it.

humanrock: Thanks! Phil is actually in the process of tapping some of his connections for the radio. Hopefully he gets back to us with some good news. :)

Thanks again everyone!

Thanks mgh! If you get a second, can ya check out the soundclick version? That version sounds more correct to me with everything. Soundcloud always seems to make things sound different for me in a negative way. I'm just curious if it still sounds like that to you...if you get a minute of course. Thanks again!

Kiss should open their tours with this tune. It sounds like something off of the Ace Frehley solo album.

Bruising guitar work, Danny.

Just listening for the first time - funny that someone else thought the same thing I did!

Will be listening a few more times too.  Better than most stuff I hear on the radio that's for sure!
