Thanks Jesse, Ed, Bob F, Firesong, Rimshot, Mike, James1213, Sixfinger, Leadfoot. Frugaard, Daryl, fjz. You guys aren't easy to sell, I know! :)
markno99: Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for the listen and the comments. I used that Axe Fx AX8 all over this. Rhythm guitars, lead, bass. Pretty cool little piece of gear.
James YoYo and Herb: hahaha....great compliments. You guys are awesome, thanks so much! :)
Marcos69: Thanks a lot! Always enjoyed your playing!
stevec: Thanks! I drove poor Phil crazy with those vocals. He must have re-sung them 3 times. He HAD to sing them due to the irony in the song, plus...he wrote it. LOL! He wasn't crazy about his voice on this at first, so I tried to sing on it and well...it wasn't the right voice either. So he worked hard on the verses and chorus parts, and I came up with a bridge with me singing that I felt good about that didn't take away from the song too much. So we looked at it like the older guy presenting the package, and the old guy that is a little younger supporting it. LOL!
Dan: Thanks! I know you're not an easy sell. Heck, most of the guys on this forum aren't. I was pretty pleased with the positive responses, although....I was a bit skeptical because I'm still working with all new gear in a brand new room. So sometimes I find myself not quite buying into myself. Ever have that happen? In my old room with my old gear, I never had a second thought. In this new situation, I always feel like I'm being a bit conservative. So I've been concentrating on more "neutral" mixes instead of pushing things in a more modern way...if that makes sense? I'm still feeling this place out, but I'm quite pleased so far.
Tom: hey, thanks man! Much appreciated. I had so much fun on this little tune...I was sort of sad when we were done with it.
humanrock: Thanks! Phil is actually in the process of tapping some of his connections for the radio. Hopefully he gets back to us with some good news. :)
Thanks again everyone!
