That would make it InKomplete

(but, I'm with ya and would like to have just a "musical" version as well)

I really wish that at some point NI would start releasing different versions of Komplete which cater for different uses. I always hesitate about upgrading Komplete when the time comes because it has a ton of stuff that I would really never use, for example all of the stuff like this, Action Strikes, Damage and Evolve which are obviously geared toward the movie soundtrack market. Sometimes I decide I'm going to try and incorporate some of it into one of my productions (to get my money's worth if nothing else) but I always come away disappointed because the sounds are just so movie/TV cliched. I'm sure these products are great if you're scoring movies but personally I'd like to see them replaced with some more synths, effects or sampled instruments in a more "musical" version of Komplete.

The same thought had occurred to me: Komplete Music, Komplete Movie, Komplete Orchestral.  Then if you want all 3, go Komplete Ultimate.  My view is that there's very few of us making movie soundtracks and very few of us doing orchestral work, so why bundle them in and clutter up our hard drives?

A lot of the Heavyocity stuff is musical, or at least beaty.  It does tend to have that "polished" sound and other sounds which are orchestral, but I've used it for plenty of rock/industrial work.  You do have to dig around, tho.
