We used to have a Sonar user named Ethan Winer that many may still remember. He is a cellist among other things. A very good one at that.

I think Apocalyptica was perhaps the first(?) all-cello heavy rock group.
Their first album covering Metallica was some kind of a small hit.
Later they added a drummer and a singer.
 
Yes. Cello is a brilliant instrument for rock.

Esperanto Rock Orchestra ... used a lot of cellos, and their 3rd album has a great version of Eleanor Rigby with it.
 
Early ELO with Roy Wood, a lot of which was kinda taken out when he left the band, but his solo's are crazy with cellos, and I recommend them, though they can be unusual. Mustard is excellent, as is Eddie and the Falcons.
 
French band Wapassou also had cellos. 
 
Right off the bat those are the ones I can think of.

'We'? You can speak for yourself Pedro, especially if you're going to use that derogatory term for women. I'd listen and watch regardless of what the player looks like, it's a superb piece of music, and she's a gifted musician.
