This is one of the first songs I wrote. I decided some months ago to record it as a duet with a female singer. The language actually was very challenging, she willingly admitted, but I think it came out ok. I hope you like this one.

Feedback in all forms are much appreciated

Very nicely done.  Like the composition altogether,  very classic ballad feeling.
If I would suggest anything, it would be to adjust the woman's vocal eq or levels more to match the man's voice, which sits perfectly in the mix.
Overall very solid.

Thank you very much! Yes, I really have to admit that I had a hard time mixing this one, probably because mixing female vocals is very new to me. Thank you for the tip, and the kind words :D

gorgeous!  I agree with westmont that the female vocals need a little work 1. maybe with eq but 2.  maybe recorded further away from the microphone.  It's a little incongruous  that you're (correctly) further away and belting it out and she's more in her throat-voice.  The female voice sounded too front and center while yours sits better.

Also, I'd work up more lush harmonies for the chorus instead of the antiphonal type of situation you have going on, just for fun! :D

The song itself is very original and quite good.  It sounds heartfelt and sincere.
