Hi everyone, it's been a while since I was last active partly down to writers block which I am slowly working through. To start getting over this I have experimented with different chord progressions, which I would not normally use and with listening to a lot of Ambient tracks recently I came up with this:-

Kinda reminds me of T-D during their "Melrose" years Adrian

Thanks, it was an influence in this track. I listened to a number of TD tracks and came up with a template to follow, one good way of getting over writers block.

Very interesting.  I was hypnotized.  Music went well with the sun shots!
Ha, some of those flares reminded me of the alien coming out of Sigourney Weaver's belly.

Thanks for listening. Yeah, there was a section part way through the video that I thought wow trippy :)

Adrian,
Nice work on this one.  I think you hit a nice progression for sure on this on!  Sounded great on my system.

Thanks Tony. I'm trying to experiment more with chord progressions as I always stray towards the safe options.

Doesn't sound like writers block at all Adrian, the chord progressions and build up was very pleasant/pleasing to my ears.
You've done justice to Luftrum (I really like the sounds of Luftrum's Ambient Alchemy library....playing those patches makes me forget the reason I originally went looking for a sound).

Well done on this track, I enjoyed listening to it.........and now for a little Space Xpress. :))

Thanks Mesh :)
Luftrum's other library for Omnisphere (Luftrum Ambient 2) is another good one, has Vangelis written all over it.

When listening to your tracks, I was thinking an acoustic (or electric) guitar might give it a different take/add a dimension to everything.......have you tried something like this?
