Does anyone else get this issue using these forums? I imagine you do. It normally happens when you edit a reply, save changes and BAM - reply has disappeared. It gets very frustrating. I do tend to copy my posts to the clipboard before submitting just in case.
 
I just submitted a lengthy reply to a thread, edited, saved, edited again, saved - gone. Pasted, saved - appears. Then go to the forum index and the thread isn't highlighted at the top. Scroll down, find thread, my reply is not there! Repeat process. No reply. What the hell!
 
Sorry, I just had to have that rant to vent my frustration!

It happens if I try to refresh when a post edit seems to have stuck in loading. I need to wait 5 minutes for it to finish loading instead.

yes . . . beware of the edit, if it's extra stuff, safer to put it in a new post, saves risking what you already wrote. copy everything before hitting the button.
 
the cynical and those with a good sense of irony may say it's a sonar forum, . . .  so we all should be use to bugs and quirks and things not working as expected and the need for numerous workarounds

Also if an edit gets stuck in loading, press submit again, never reload.

in firefox (perhaps others, perhaps all) pressing the back button usually takes you back to your post/reply box, allowing you to get everything you typed, just resubmitting doesn't usually work, but you can copy everything and then try again latter

This dark trickenology is also true of their flagship program.  I never got the same thing twice whenever I used it.
