My previous advice recently failed. I had to click back to copy paste, change the post a little and repost it.

It seems to be getting worse. Happened to me several times lately.

You need to edit the post. Reposting the same thing makes the forum think you are double posting.

Editing it made it disappear. At which point re-posting was the only option.
 
FWIW, I did receive notification earlier today that a previous post of mine had been retrieved so I'm guessing the hosts are doing their best to help out with this.

Try posting something without any worthwhile content.  Works for me every time!

Sorry, what you need to do if a post doesnt post:
 
1) Press back button on browser until you are back to your post
2) Select all and copy
3) Make a new post and paste it in
4) Change something (I.E. edit) so it doesnt get detected as a double post (the original failed post is still there but hidden).

Does anyone else get this issue using these forums? I imagine you do. It normally happens when you edit a reply, save changes and BAM - reply has disappeared. It gets very frustrating. I do tend to copy my posts to the clipboard before submitting just in case.
