HI all,
I got tired of VST dll's being all over the place. So I created 3 subdirectories in C:\Programs Files\Common Files and C:\Programs Files (x86)\Common Files. I use the common files location because this is where VST3's are installed.
VST2
VST3
VSTi
All 32-bit go to C:\Programs Files (x86)\Common Files and 64-bit go to C:\Programs Files\Common Files with subfolders. The only thing is you have to maintain it. Like all of you I wish
ALL the companies would give us a choice where to install.
This works for all the programs I use including Video Editor's. Make sure in the program you change your scan locations.
