In a similar vein, Mr. Big are top notch. I'm listening to this live show right now....

Hi,

GONG -- Rejoice, we're not alive!

Couldn't help making fun of the title, since the music in there has a couple of nice things, but all in all it is not well "founded" and "understood" what GONG really stood for, and the lyrics are a bit ... on the pushy and not fun side.

Also missing, GROSSLY, is one of the most important part of the whole experience that was GONG ... the feminine side, finally shows up in a background chorus in the end ... sad to see, that everything that Gilly did all those years was just some meaningless gibberish and nothing else ... because these guys don't do women, and the music is all men! They do guitars and rock'n'roll!

So sick of it!

I always preferred Bombardier Billy Wells work with Gong. It was more succinct and to the point somehow.

Dave Foster Band - New York Rain

I was pleased to find this concert footage of Panic Room's Dave Foster's solo project.

Facilitated no doubt by the filming of Steve Rothery the same night.

One last Panic Room related track (no, I am not obsessed and did I tell you Ann-Marie Helder once asked me the time? )
Ann-Marie and Geoff Downes showing their pop sensibilities.
