Listening to this at the moment......they do a pretty good job on covers.

I'm thinking of getting a new stereo for my car, one with Bluetooth, USB and an audio jack. My 17 year old Sony quit working awhile back.
So I started ripping some of my CDs to the computer, to convert to mp3 so I can put them on my phone to play.
Listened to Boston for the first time in many years.
Seemed a lot faster than I remember.

Renaissance "Grandine il Vento"

I can't find any YouTube so this bandcamp link will have to do http://store.renaissancetouring.com/album/grandine-il-vento-digital-download

I did not realise there was such a recent album so i was happy to find this. It may occasionally stray towards Lloyd Webber territory occasionally but Annie Haslam is in fine voice.

I was sad to hear Michael Dunford died in 2012. John Wetton does a duet on “Blood Silver Like Moonlight” and Ian Anderson plays flute on one track.

Here's a little slice of rock history that I only just found out about;

Mike Howlett from Gong, with Sting, Summers & Copeland (just before they became The Police)

I like it.

Strawbs, Down by the Sea.

This track certainly had an influence on my current project.

Very short-lived outfit apparently, but they played at a Gong reunion gig in '77. The album was re-released about 10 years later, hence the title 'Police Academy', cashing in on Sting & the boys fame.
