Here's some more Prog Rock for ya ......this band from Norway are just incredibly talented musicians and a bunch of older guys too ......(I also listened to an older album The Suffering Joy....very good musicianship/songwriting).

IMO, Pendragon seemed a bit more 80's poppish......not as polished with technical ability, and the excellent musicianship as Magic Pie.....ya, I know.....YMMV.

I'm actually listening to Acqua (40 min now) and I can appreciate some the sequences/modular synths used, but it doesn't really do anything for me (possibly good for intros or outros/sound fx etc...). I generally look for melodies, movement, harmonies, emotion etc...in songs and couldn't quite dig this. I suppose it's not for every Juan.  
 
In my high school daze, I tried acid once and this would've been the perfect accompaniment....lol.......then again, we had The Wall to listen to.
