Funny you should play this ... I have been catching up on Cabaret Voltaire, Der Plan, Din a Testbild and some other weirdness, and weirdest yet, is ... I didn't find them weird this time around! And I might even try and have another listen to Dagmar and her kitchen recorded voice!

In the mid 90s, I played a friend a rough 4-track demo, and his response was "it sounds like The Sisters Of Mercy."  I'd never listened to them before.  I was shocked to hear that it was incredibly similar.  Still love them 20 years later.
