I uninstalled the device through device manager, removed ,usb cable, restarted windows, this time windows saw it, and installed it in sound and video devices, and cakewalk also discovered it, but only as an output device (Speakers),
and no input device. So I uninstalled it again, downloaded Vista64 bit (As I saw it on some site, cant remember) drivers from Roland site, reconnected USB cable to Edirol ua25, when it asked for drivers, pointed at the unzipped folder for the Vista 64 bit drivers, then opened cakewalk, """"""""Wow""""""", the input device is now also Edirol 25, and an input from my mic, moves the levels, and I have signal coming through to my cakewalk, so I assume, I can record now. It is also with advanced button pushed in! So windows 10(64) drivers for Edirolua25 are the same as vista64
