Interesting tune, James, I can see why this would have been an on again off again project.  Loved the bass line and the croaky vocal.

Very well done. I like the change to the faster section. I'm not sure I like the transition back to the initial tempo but that's just subjective.

Great intro hook! You start out going a bit psychotic! I love it! more like a lunitic "get it" moon... lol 
There is some odd gtr stuff going on under the vox 40 – 50 seconds that needs to be cut or lower in the mix. I don’t like the solo hunk…1:49 – 2:00 pre vox.. I would go straight to the sugar moon vox… the dead space is cool but the silence is not set to the right time for the rest… I would hang the guitar out after some of the verse sections as well, you seem to cut the guitar when the words stop.
You slipped out of the psychotic feel… :(
It could use some accent twangy notes randomly placed…
