J.S.
Been messing around with this old song called " Spooky " a favorite of mine . I added all the drumming to this one using my new electronic drum kit .
Its great to be playing again , tried raising the volume level on my bass pad as high as it will go and all of the other pads to . Everything is maxed out on volume in this kit .

Enjoy! Hope the mix is right , sounds good on my speakers

Serious_Noize!
Glad you are playing again James. Kinda like the way this turned out, it has kinda a live sound the way your drums are recorded. Although I must ask, did you do a direct record from the drums or use Addictive drums for you sound?

That was sorta an older tune I recorded, I might add some words and vocals and actually already had a lead guitar solo for it but I can do so much better since when this was recorded.

Sorry nobody is replying James, reason I don't post anything here anymore, too many holier than thou attitudes. You asked if I could send you something to piddle with and this was the one I chose.

You really need to turn the bass kick up badly, it is non-existent in this recording you done, you must have mixed with the bass really down. But then again, I told you, send me the track and I'll mix it since I have the master tracks, you just added to an MP3 so I guess that's expected. No big deal.

Glad you had some fun with it James, life is too short and I enjoyed hearing what you done regardless of my tiny crits and stuff.

Sounded good!!! I like your drum playing, very tight but real.

Hi Bobby , I was not triggering my Addictive drums . Everything was from the drum module itself .
Yea I might want to check my bass pad setting , not sure if I turned up the volume on that pad .
Anyway thanks , enjoying my new electronic drums for sure .
Plan on adding another Crash Cymbal pad to my drum kit , maybe next month .

Rawk!  I think you could bring the drums up a bit in the mix, they sound pretty high quality. I don't hear the bass g much, is there one? If not, that would be a cool add.

cheers,
-Tom

Nice rocking tune and the drums sound pretty good......I have to agree the bass kick does need to be kicked up a notch or two.
Doesn't sound like you've missed a beat in those two years.....well done!!!

Hi Daryl , sorry for the slow reply been busy !
This kit is a Alesis Forge Electronic drum kit , cost me $500.00 new from Sweetwater .
This kit is great for the price , wasn't sure about buying it at that price but after playing it the kit is worth every penny in that price range and ten times better then the Yamaha DTX that I had two years ago that was junk to play on .
This is not the best electronic kit on the market but in this price range it's very playable !
The whole kit is very well made , great drum pads and choke able cymbal pads and the module is very good .
I didn't have a lot of money to spend on another electronic drum kit , Bobby told me about this kit and I checked it out and then jumped on it !
