so incredibly imaginative.  As a guitar player, I'm curious how you arrive at what stays and what goes for the final guitar parts.  I never know what's *good enough* and what's *too cliche* and what's *original* .  It might be because I don't have as much experience with recording.  How do you say:  OK this is my final statement for this particular song in perpetuity?

You have your own stamp on everything and it's a really great style.  You should promote it more.

howdy ho, eph.....
those guitar parts?
well, it's different every time.
in this case, i basically only had to decide on one part,
and then harmonize with it...
i may do a dozen different takes before i get what i want,
but once i get it, i can play it over and over.

i guess deciding what is right, is just part of a vision of knowing what you want, and knowing how to get it.
kinda like, being in the RIGHT headspace, at the RIGHT time.
so, part of it is luck.
LOL

Very cool stuff, although I agree with me mate Bapu that the vocals could come up a bit.

love the guitar esp on the breakdown from around 2'00 - great use of panning and the tone is to die for. i think vocals are a competing a bit with the guitars and also with the harmonies/verb is difficult to hear lyrics clearly. i don't think it's necessarily a question of level but more eqing and getting the centre up a bit

Whenever I hear bats stuff I picture myself driving on an open road, maybe a dusty highway in the sw.  The travel theme is a good one.

Very cool - great playing and production is A1 as per usual. Vocals sit nicely for me

Liked this one also, everything is in place. I thought it may be a tad bright with the cymbals and the snare crack at first...but I just got done mixing a "dull sounding" array of tunes where the client wanted them that way. So my ears adjusted about mid way through. Great guitar playing, vocals, drums. Bass sounds nice and clear...could probably get away with a little more low end...but that's subjective. You like your kick to have the boom and your bass to be a little more percussive. I do mine the other way around. LOL! Great job man!

Bat needs to move to seattle and share his batbrew with the grunge smudge that's left over up there.  That's what my magic 8 ball said.

As before with your stuff, I love it. Unpredictable and extremely well performed.  Great stuff.
